What types of programs do you offer?Park City Juniors Volleyball Club was established in the summer of 2024, so at the time of writing this FAQ section, we're still very much figuring out what our ongoing programming looks like. Our main goal is to offer programs for the young athletes in Park City who otherwise don't have access to organized volleyball programs through school, which is primarily the middle school crowd. Up until now, our programs have fallen into the category of: Skills Clinics: These sessions will be focused on technique improvement, so that players can isolate and learn high-level volleyball skills from our experienced coaches. Our clinics are focused on either all-skills or a specific area of development (ie: setting, attacking, serve/pass). They are designed for motivated players of all experience levels looking to refine strong fundamentals and possibly prepare for upcoming tryouts. Sessions are broken out by age and skill level/type. Private/Semi-Private lessons: We train both individuals and small groups and can work with you to figure out the best fit for your athlete. Send us an email at coach[@]parkcityjuniorsvolleyball.com and we can be in touch about next steps. Athletes of all ages, schools, and club affiliations can request lessons We can train indoors or on the sand 1:1 private lessons indoors start at $95 per hour Semi-private lessons indoors follow the pricing structure outlined below: 2 players is $75 per person/hour 3 players is $65 per person/hour 4-8 players is $45 per person/hour We'd love to expand our offerings and are trying to make it happen! If you have a request or a suggestion, please reach out at coach@parkcityjuniorsvolleyball.com. We'd love to hear from you!

What should I bring to practice? Please plan to wear athletic clothing that you can easily move around in, bring a hair tie if you need one, and bring water! For indoor volleyball sessions, please plan to bring knee pads and athletic shoes. For sand volleyball sessions, you won't need kneepads or sneakers, but you'll need extra water, sunscreen, sunglasses and a towel to wipe yourself off after the lesson.

What is your policy on cell phones?Unless an athlete is dealing with a unique situation in which they need to be on call, the coaches expect all athletes to keep phones and other devices (smartwatches, etc.) stowed in their bags until the session has ended. If there is some sort of emergency going on and an athlete needs access to their phone, just let the coaches know so that we aren't left thinking that your child is scrolling through TikTok during their water break.
